What is Ibuki Garden?

Ibuki Garden is a participatory Digital Forest NFT where you plant trees with USDC, receive an NFT when the Grove (402 trees) completes, and nurture your forest with Care to watch it grow.

What is Plant and how much does it cost?

Plant is the action of adding a tree to a Grove. It costs 1 USDC per tree. Your planting position, timestamp, and conditions are permanently recorded on-chain.

When and how do I receive my NFT?

When all 402 trees in a Grove are planted, the Grove finalizes. Each planter can then claim their unique NFT. One wallet receives one NFT per Grove.

Care is how you nurture a finalized Grove. Each Care action adds Love, which affects the forest's Mood and visual appearance. Care costs 0.001 USDC.

A Grove is a digital forest unit that holds 402 trees. When full, it finalizes and reveals its unique DNA based on planting patterns (Speed, Pattern, Crowd tiers).

Do I need a wallet? What about gas fees?

Yes, you need a crypto wallet (Coinbase Wallet recommended). For Plant and Care, gas fees are covered by the protocol via x402. For Claim, gas is sponsored inside the Coinbase Mini App. External wallets (EOA) will need a small amount of ETH on Base for claiming.

What blockchain is Ibuki Garden on?

Ibuki Garden runs on Base (Ethereum L2). The pilot phase uses Base Sepolia testnet.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Ibuki Garden, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Description of Service

Ibuki Garden is a decentralized application (dApp) that allows users to:

Plant: Pay 1 USDC to plant a tree in a Grove
Claim: Receive an NFT when a Grove (402 trees) is complete
Care: Nurture finalized Groves to affect their visual appearance

3. Eligibility

You must be of legal age in your jurisdiction to use this service. You are responsible for complying with all applicable laws and regulations.

4. Wallet and Transactions

You are solely responsible for maintaining the security of your cryptocurrency wallet. All blockchain transactions are irreversible. We cannot recover lost funds or reverse transactions.

5. Payments, Refunds, and Grove Completion

Plant actions require payment of 1 USDC (or the amount displayed at the time of the transaction) plus any applicable network fees. All payments and on-chain transactions are final and non-refundable. Planting does not guarantee that a Grove will be completed within any timeframe or at all, and we do not guarantee that you will receive an NFT or any other benefit.

6. NFTs and Digital Assets

NFTs distributed through Ibuki Garden are digital collectibles on the Base blockchain. We make no guarantees regarding:

Future value or market price of NFTs
Secondary market availability
Long-term storage or accessibility of metadata

7. Risks

Using blockchain-based services involves inherent risks including but not limited to:

Cryptocurrency price volatility
Smart contract vulnerabilities
Network congestion and transaction failures
Regulatory changes affecting cryptocurrency
Loss of private keys resulting in permanent loss of access

Nothing on this platform constitutes financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. You should consult appropriate professionals before making any financial decisions.

9. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to engage in any unlawful, harmful, or abusive conduct, including:

Violating any applicable laws, regulations, or sanctions
Attempting to access or interfere with systems or smart contracts without authorization
Using bots or exploits to disrupt, manipulate, or degrade the service
Uploading or transmitting malicious code

10. Service Availability and Termination

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the service (in whole or in part) at any time, with or without notice. We may restrict or terminate access if we believe you have violated these terms or if required by law. You may stop using the service at any time.

11. Compliance and Sanctions

You represent that you are not subject to sanctions or located in a country or region subject to comprehensive sanctions, and that your use of the service complies with all applicable export control and sanctions laws.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the service.

14. Intellectual Property

The Ibuki Garden brand, logos, and visual designs are our intellectual property. NFT holders receive a limited license to display their NFT for personal, non-commercial purposes.

15. Taxes and Fees

You are responsible for any applicable taxes, reporting obligations, and third-party fees (including blockchain network fees and wallet provider fees) arising from your use of the service.

16. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where the service operator is established, without regard to conflict of law rules. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction unless applicable law requires otherwise.

17. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
